Ph.D. candidate, Monsuru DAUDA has been named the recipient of the 2025 Industrial Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Engineering Division Student Achievement Award from the ECS - The Electrochemical Society. This prestigious honor recognizes exceptional young engineers and scientists for their academic excellence and contributions to electrochemical engineering research. Monsuru’s work focuses on “Strategies for Sustainable Ethylene, Ethanol, and Acetate Via Electrochemical CO₂ Reduction”—a promising area with real-world impact on clean energy and sustainable chemical production. He will present his research at the 247th ECS Meeting this May in Montréal, where he will also be recognized as an award recipient.
